Stoov Referral Program Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between Stoov, Stoov Ambassadors and Referred Friends concerning the Stoov Referral Program. By participating in the Referral Campaign, Stoov Ambassadors and Referred Friends agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
1.1 In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions will be used.
Discount Code
Parties means Stoov, Stoov Ambassadors and Referred Friend.
Product means the Stoov heating products including its replaceable parts, spare parts, accessories as offered for sale by Stoov.
Stoov Ambassador means the person who sends/sent the Referral Link. An Ambassador must be above the age of 18, resident .
Referred Friend means the person who receives/received the Referral Link. A Referred Friend is any person above the age of 18,
Referral Link means a A Stoov Ambassador will receive a referral link directly via Stoov after a purchase at a Stoov webshop.
Referral Terms means these Terms and Conditions, including updates, alterations and possible appendices, published on the Stoov website.
We (“our”, “us”, “Stoov”) means Stoov B.V., a Dutch limited liability company located at Arthur van Schendelstraat 500, 3511 MH, Utrecht in the Netherlands, registered with the Trade Registry number 62149342, VAT number GB422570518.
Website means our website: uk.stoov.com.
You means the Stoov Ambassador and/or the Referred Friend, as applicable.
2. Scope of Application
2.1 The Stoov Referral Program allows a Stoov Ambassador to introduce friends, family or acquaintances (‘Referred Friend’) resident within the European Economic Are or the United Kingdom to Stoov.
2.2 By participating, sharing a Referral Link as a Stoov Ambassador or using the Discount Code for purchasing a Stoov as a Referred Friend or a Stoov Ambassador, in the Referral Program:
1. you accept and agree that you, as an Stoov Ambassador or Referred Friend, are bound by the Referral Terms; and
2. you acknowledge that you have read and understood the information concerning the Stoov Privacy and Cookie Policy
2.3 By purchasing or attempting to purchase a Stoov product:
you accept and agree that you, as a Referred Friend, are bound by the Stoov Terms & Conditions of Purchase as made available on our Website.
3. Referrer
3.1 Stoov offers a 10 Pound discount on any new order to Stoov Ambassadors upon a successful referral. This means that the Referred Friend has made a purchase according to article 4.1.
3.2 Each successful referral will generate a unique Discount Code that Stoov Ambassadors can use on every purchase of a Stoov Product with a minimum value of £69.95 on the Webshop. Only one (1) discount code can be applied per order.
4. Referral Link
4.1 Stoov offers a 10 Pound discount to a Referred Friend upon the first purchase of a Stoov Product with a minimum value of £69.95. Only one (1) discount code can be applied per order.
4.2 The Stoov Ambassador can share their broadcast link by using the WhatsApp share button, this button will be made available by Stoov via email.
4.3 Through the unique Referral Link, the Referred Friend will receive a Discount Code that can be redeemed in the Webshop upon the purchase of a Stoov Product with a minimum value of £69.95 according to article 4.1.
4.4 Referral Links and Discount Codes should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes (for example no use by influencers). Referral Links and Discount Codes should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal contacts.
5. Use of the Discount Code
5.1 The Discount Code shall only be redeemed in the Stoov Webshop.
5.2 Stoov will only provide the discount in electronic form using a Discount Code.
5.3 The Discount Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other sales promotions/offers/programs and vouchers (except a free shipping voucher) and is only valid in the Webshop.
5.4 The discount will be offered in Pound Sterling (£) only.
5.5 In no case may any of these discount codes be exchanged for the monetary value of the Discount Code.
5.6 When purchasing the Product with the Discount Code, the general Terms and Conditions of Purchase apply, including the right to a cool-off period of thirty (30) days from the receipt of the Product. In the event the Referred Friend exercises this right by returning the Product, such Referred Friend will be reimbursed the monetary value of the Product reduced by the discount and the Stoov Ambassador will not receive his Discount Code as explained in article 3. The discount is intended by Stoov to be a gift tied specifically to new Stoov users.
5.7 The Stoov Ambassador receives the Discount Code after the cool-off period of thirty (30) days if the Referred Friend purchases a Product with the code does not return the Product within such period.
6. Terms of validity
6.1 Discount codes are for one-time use, non-transferable and expire six (6) months from the date of receipt.
7. Privacy and data protection
7.1 Any personal details provided in connection with the Referral Program will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It is important that you carefully read and understand this information.
7.2 All data collected by us will be used and processed exclusively within the framework of the current data protection laws and in accordance with our data protection and privacy policies.
8. Right to termination
8.1 Stoov can terminate the Referral Program or a person’s ability to participate at any time for any reason and without notice.
8.2 Stoov reserves the right to suspend accounts, cancel the Discount Code or refuse a transaction if we notice any activity we believe fraudulent, improper, or unlawful or if we have reason to assume you are in breach of these Referral Terms.
8.3 Stoov reserves the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals as deemed fair and appropriate.
9. Limitation of liability
9.1 Stoov accepts no liability for loss, theft, destruction or improper use of Discount Code, unless this is the result of negligence on the part of Stoov.
9.2 Stoov is not liable for technical issues, system failures or other problems that may result in a broken Referral Link or non-receipt of the Discount Code.
9.3 Without prejudice to the conditions of these Referral Terms, Stoov’s liability towards you is limited to the amount of discount offered via the Discount Code.
9.4 Nothing in these Referral Terms serves to exclude or limit liability for:
10. Severability
10.1 In the event that any provision of these Referral Terms is declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these Referral Terms shall remain in full force and effect. In such case, the Parties shall endeavour in good faith to modify the invalid or unenforceable article or to agree on a new article that is valid and enforceable.
11. Changes to these Referral Terms
11.1 Stoov reserves the right to, at all times, amend these Referral Terms by publishing an amended version on the Stoov website.
11.2 You are free to decide whether or not to accept a revised version of these Referral Terms. If you do not agree to any revised version of these Referral Terms, your sole recourse is to stop your participation in the Referral Program.
11.3 Except as otherwise expressly stated by us, participation in the Referral Program is subject to, and constitutes your acceptance of, the version of these Referral Terms in effect at the time of your participation in the Referral Program.
12. Applicable law and dispute resolution
12.1 All contracts concluded with Stoov shall be governed under the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Referral Terms, including this section 12, affects your rights as a consumer with regard to local law.
12.2 Any dispute between you and Stoov in relation to these Referral Terms, including the understanding and the extent of these Referral Terms will be resolved by the competent English courts.
