Our tips for longer-lasting warmth
Keeping your Stoov charged and well cared for is the key to enjoying cosy warmth whenever you want it. Follow this simple guide to learn how to charge your Stoov correctly and keep the battery in top condition for years of comfort.
Tip 1: Connect the battery correctly
Before charging, make sure the battery is properly connected. Use the round plug inside your Stoov and push it firmly into the battery cable port.
Tip 2: Charge through the smart label
Always use the USB-C port on the smart label to charge your Stoov. This ensures the fastest and safest charging.
Tip 3: Use the right adapter
For best results, use a 30 W USB-C adapter. Lower wattage adapters work but charge more slowly. Avoid using adapters above 30 W, as they will not make charging faster.
Tip 4: Check the charging indicator
The lights on the back of the smart label show your battery level:
- Battery empty → first light flashes
- Battery filling → first light stays on, second light flashes
- This continues until all lights are solid
- When all lights stay on while plugged in, your Stoov is fully charged.
Tip 5: Charge fully before first use
Always fully charge your Stoov before using it for the first time. This ensures it performs at its best.
Tip 6: Charge regularly
For long-term battery health, charge your Stoov regularly, even if not in use for about 3 hours every 2–3 months.
Tip 7: Unplug when fully charged
Once fully charged, unplug the adapter. Leaving it plugged in is unnecessary and can affect battery life.
Good to keep in mind...
-
Charge in a room-temperature space
- Use only the recommended 30 W USB-C adapter
- Keep the battery in its pocket while using your Stoov
- Do not use damaged cables or adapters
