Don’t let the battery completely drain; it's bad for its lifespan. Therefore, always keep the battery slightly charged to keep it in prime condition. Pro-tip: charge it every three months, even if you're not using it.
To prevent your Stoov from accidentally turning on, disconnect the battery. This allows it to rest undisturbed - think of it as hibernation for your heating cushion! Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
Store your Stoov in a dry area, away from extreme cold or heat. A closet or a stylish storage basket will do the trick.
Avoid folding or stuffing which might cause the heating elements to press against each other. It's best to roll up your Big Hug and gently slide a heating cushion into the closet - try not to stuff it.
