But even lower temperatures, when enjoyed for too long, can sometimes sneak up on you and can even cause injuries without you realising it. This is more likely if you’re unaware of the warmth or unable to sense it properly, such as when you fall asleep.

Think of the highest heat setting as a turbo boost. Use it to warm up your Stoov and yourself, then switch to Level 2 for consistent, cosy heat. And another added benefit; your battery will last longer this way!
For safety and convenience, use your Stoov with the battery, not while the charger is plugged into the product. This naturally limits usage time, as the battery will eventually need recharging.
While we don't recommend sleeping with your Stoov, if you’re likely to fall asleep or have reduced sensitivity to heat, opt for the lowest heat setting. This reduces the chance of overheating over time.
