What is Blue Monday?

First things first: what exactly is Blue Monday? It is referred to as the most depressing day of the year. It's a common feeling to experience the "Monday blues," or a general feeling of sadness or low energy on Monday’s in the winter. But don't let the term "Blue Monday" fool you - it's just a myth. That's right, there's no scientific evidence to support the claim that any one day is more depressing than any other. So go ahead and shake off those Monday morning blues and tackle the week with a positive attitude!

When is Blue Monday?

Blue Monday is always on the third Monday of january. The concept was first introduced in a 2005 press release from a holiday company, which claimed to have used a formula to calculate the date based on things like weather, the length of time since Christmas, and people's inability to follow through on their New Year's resolutions. While the formula was later revealed to be a hoax, the idea of Blue Monday has stuck around and has become a well-known cultural phenomenon. Blue Monday 2023 is on the 16th of january.

A morning routine that includes activities like exercise or meditation can also help reduce stress and improve well-being. And taking a few minutes to do something you enjoy, like reading or listening to music, can start your day on a positive note.

Remember, it's okay to have a tough day from time to time. Don't beat yourself up over it - it's just part of life. Instead, try to find ways to make the most of your day, even if things aren't going as planned. And don't forget to stay warm!
